Mai maut se darta hu bahot,

Par ek din marna hai zaroor,

 

Mai kafan dekh kar laraz jata hu,

Par ek din pehan na hai zaroor,

 

Mai janaza dekh kar gamgeen ho jata hu,

Par ek din mera janaza uthna hai zaroor,

 

Mai qabar k andhere se kaanp jata hu,

Par is mai ek din jana hai zaroor,

 

Yeh dunya acchi lagti hai,

par isko ek din chhod k jana hai zaroor,

 

Phir bhi maine aakhirat ki tayyari nahi ki,

Par ALLAH ko hissab dena hai zaroor......
