Morning Glorythoughts Thursday . . . March 4, 2010 Good Morning, Folks! "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." Matthew 24:7- 8 If anyone hasn't noticed recently, we are seeing the power of God moving mightily, increasingly, upon the earth. Shiftings are taking place. Positions are being re-arranged. We, as Christians, know and understand that He is ruling, in His Sovereignty. As turbulence and trials touch and affect so many nations, our hearts go out to those who have been caught up, in their fray. Fixing our gaze upon these events, makes us even more aware, of how much we need His righteousness, His Sovereignty, over and within our own country. God is preparing hearts, minds, and spirits as these occurrences increase. He is speaking now, louder than ever before, to get our houses in order. It is no time to play games with God, to continue on in complacency, or denial. We need His righteousness, His justice, to rule over us, and our nation. We should be seeking Him, more than ever, in every direction of which America is traveling, in every footstep, we, ourselves, are traveling. It is time to surrender to Him, our country, and to seek Him in all aspects of it. We need not His hand of wrath, moving against us. Sandra Lewis Pringle Dear Father, We come to You, as a needy people, in our nation. Father, we ask that You begin to rule and reign, in righteousness, in justice, in every department of our governmental system. Father, We claim the standards of our founding fathers, and we yearn to have those established once more, and held closely to heart, in our beloved America. Father, We look to You, our Savior, our Deliverer, and we ask that You begin to re-arrange.... to put people into place, which will carry out this legacy, and to restore our nation, and You, within our government. Forgive us, Father, for every wrong turn we have allowed with our silence, and restore us again. Father, We are Yours, and we belong to You, and we long for You, in every hall, every walkway, every schoolroom, in our land. Father, bless the children, and may those little ones, who are so precious to You, begin a walk forward, instead of backwards, in the pathways of our country. Take ahold of every young heart, and bring leaders and teachers forth, who are not afraid to speak truth, and words of reverence for Your namesake. In Jesus' name, we pray, trust, and we pray, thanking You. Amen |
