Morning Glorythoughts Friday ... 23rd of April 2010 ~ Sandra Lewis Pringle ~
Good Morning Folks!
†††
"But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers, loved by the Lord because God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth."
2 Thessalonians 2:13

Some of those who hesitate in accepting Christ as Savior, erroneously think that the work accomplished on the Cross will encumber them in some way. But, the very opposite of this is true! The work completed on the Cross, by Jesus Christ, sets mankind free from sin and bondage, and gives them complete pardon from sin, and all the woes that it brings. The work completed on the Cross, was meant for mankind to receive, in complete faith. Those who are walking out of faith, have never known the joy, the peace, of knowing that we have a Savior, Who is loving and caring, and willing to take our burdens and share with us, His power, to subdue our enemies and to lead us beside the still waters. The work of Christ Jesus upon the Cross tacked our illnesses, afflictions, and diseases to it forever, through the nail-scarred hands of the Lord, Jesus Christ. There is no work any greater than that of Jesus, Who laid down His life, for each of us. The work upon the Cross ... encumbering us?
Never! It sets us free in every way, so that we might live our lives abundantly, and graciously receive the love of God, His forgiveness, and our salvation ... leading us to Eternal life. We are set free from every pitfall of the enemy, who no longer has power over us, as we hide ourselves in the sanctuary of our loving Father. Jesus' work upon the Cross removes all the stain of sin, the slavery to sin, so that we may overcome, in the day of trouble. Praise our Lord Jesus! Blessed is His name ... we rejoice in Him ... we give Him all the praise, and all the glory forever!
"Our salvation costs us nothing ... it is sin which costs us everything!"
Have a safe and blessed weekend; Remain in faithfulness, doing the task which He has called you to do!

May God rule over our nation, and in all decisions concerning its people. We ask for His power, His wisdom, to take dominion and authority, to rule over all!
